neokonzervativci
Prvi neokonzervativci su bili Jevreji-Amerikanci, prethodno socijalisti ili komunisti, koji su se pomerili u političkom smislu na desno. Sagledavajući raskol unutar Republikanske partije, mnogi su počeli da koriste termin "religiozna desnica" (Republikanci koji podržavaju Izrael i Jevreje iz biblijskih razloga). U skorije vreme je termin "neokonzervativci" proširen tako da uključuje svakog ko osuđuje druge na osnovu "moralnih vrednosti", što uključuje i koncept odgovornosti.
