Owen Wilson is a famous American actor, comedian, and director. He was born on November 18, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. Owen Wilson has starred in a variety of comedies, including The Cable Guy, Meet the Parents, Zoolander, the Royal Tenenbaums, and Meet the Fockers. Most critics agree that his "big break" was filming Shanghai Noon with Jackie Chan in 2000.

On December 29, 2010, an internet hoax originating on Twitter claimed that Owen Wilson died in a ski accident in Switzerland. The rumor has since been proven to be false: part of an ongoing "death hoax" in which Twitter users falsely report the deaths of Hollywood's most well-known celebrities.
